Acupuncture Initial Consult and Treatment
Your first visit to Flow you will fill out an intake form which includes , medical history
any medications you take , any allergies, and if you would like me to direct bill to your insurance company. which is available. I will be asking you a number of questions in order to get to know you and to help me to tailor the right treatment for your specific needs to ensure you have the best quality treatment. After the consultation I will direct you to the treatment area ,where I will help you feel relaxed and proceed with treatment!
Acupunture Follow Up
Acupuncture follow-up: Welcome back to my studio! During this appointment, we will review your progress and any changes you may have noticed since your last session. I will adjust the treatment plan as necessary and provide any additional treatment to continue your progress and promote healing. You can expect to leave feeling refreshed and revitalized ,sometimes needing a nap afterwards as the body goes into a parasympathetic relaxation state. I always ask my clients to have something to eat about a couple hours before prior to their visit as to avoid any dizziness,or upset stomach they may encounter !
Acupressure Massage
If you prefer a more hands-on, approach to healing, acupressure massage may be the perfect option for you. Acupressure provides deep relaxation ,pain relief ,and ease of movement. Using hand and finger manipulation to concentrate on specific acupoints to stimulate areas to open the energy pathways of the body. There will be dim lighting ,soft music to allow for maximum relaxation.
Fire Cupping and Guasha
Fire cupping is the most ancient form of cupping ,and it can be very effective , especially for chronic musculoskeletal pain. Guasha and cupping is used to dispel stagnation (stagnant blood &lymph ) Respiratory diseases ,such as common cold, neck and shoulder problems and so much more. The suction effect can leave red circles on area for up to 1 week . Guasha involves gently scraping the skin with a stone-based tool like a jade , amethyst or Bian stone to stimulate circulation ,drain lymph nodes and relieve tension. Both techniques can be incredibly relaxing.
Facial Rejuvenation
As we age, our skin can lose its elasticity and begin to show signs of aging. Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is a natural, non-invasive, alternative to combat these effects and promote a youthful, glowing complexion. During this treatment, I will use a micro -needling pen along with facial acu- needles and body needles to promote optimal results . With using these tiny needles brings on the healing process and the protein collegen moves into injured micro needled areas ehances the buiding blocks for beautiful healthy looking skin. , I offer packages for reasons that it may take up to 10 sessions depending on your factors .
